I believe that there is nothing inherently wrong with you; the issue lies in the programming that’s running your mind and body. Therefore, our work isn’t about fixing you. It’s about stepping out of autopilot, letting go of old stories and beliefs and conditioning, and starting to live from your true essence—your most authentic self.

When you reconnect with your true self, beyond the programming and conditioning, you gain the power to create a life filled with healthy habits, thriving and reciprocal relationships, and the pursuit of your dreams, in your own way.

The space I create allows you to arrive in whatever state you are in to receive support and reconnect with your body. In each session, our focus is to meet whatever arises with gentleness, slowing down for the body’s wisdom to emerge and creating space for all aspects of your dynamic, fullest self.

I walk beside you as you navigate life’s challenges and collaboratively work to strengthen your well-being and relationships. We reflect the patterns we observe, I support you to make connections, share insights, and together, we examine these as a team.

The team aspect is crucial because we collaborate closely. We lay everything out and examine it together as equal partners. We build a professional relationship, which, while a relationship, is unique in that it focuses entirely on you.

This relationship is a significant part of the work we do together. To ensure we are a good fit, we'll do intake session before starting our process.

The Process

We’ll set up a free exploratory call to see if we’re a good fit to work together. This initial conversation allows us to discuss your goals, answer any questions, and ensure that my approach aligns with your needs.

If we decide to move forward, we’ll meet for 60-minute sessions every week or every other week. There’s no set timeline for how long we’ll work together—we’ll continue for as long as you feel it’s beneficial and until you’re ready to move on.

1:1 Counselling

In a safe, caring, and confidential environment—we explore your feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of your lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

2:1 Couples Counselling

These sessions help couples transition from internal and external conflicts toward greater harmony, cohesion, and emotional freedom.
I see couples at all stages of a relationship, including those who aren’t experiencing conflict but would like to gain skills to keep the relationship strong.

I integrate both top-down (cognitive) and bottom-up (nervous system regulation, emotional release, and expanding your window of tolerance) approaches to promote holistic healing.

I regularly take part in trainings to continue to grow as a therapist and a person. I actively participate in my own personal therapy, and supervision, to be the best person and therapist that I can be.

Coming to therapy can feel intimidating at first because discussing your inner world may leave you feeling vulnerable. However, therapy can also be incredibly heart-warming and validating. It’s a space where you can be your authentic self and talk about anything that’s on your mind without judgment. You'll feel truly heard, supported, and understood in this unbiased, confidential environment.

In therapy sessions, you can: Openly discuss unhelpful patterns in your life. Learn new, effective ways to respond to challenging thoughts, feelings, and urges. Experience empathetic, nonjudgmental listening to help you understand painful thoughts and feelings. Receive ideas for practicing new ways of living between sessions.

Somatic therapy is a body-oriented approach to help individuals overcome trauma, unhealthy patterns, anxiety, or dissociation. It helps individuals reconnect with their body, and learn their natural body senses to heal and better navigate their lives. This work is based in Somatic Psychology and has roots in neuroscience, anatomy, and body psychotherapy. The goal is to discover safety in the body, find freedom in your own skin, and create healthy relationship with your emotions.

No, therapy is not a quick fix. It’s not like taking a pill or waving a magic wand. Change in therapy is often gradual and subtle. The goal isn't to "fix" you—because you're not broken—but to help you manage distress and navigate the challenges life presents.

Yes, therapy is confidential, and maintaining your privacy is a top priority. I will not share any information outside the therapy room without your permission. However, there are a few legal and ethical exceptions where I may be required to disclose information:

Risk of Harm: If I believe you are at serious risk of harming yourself or if you have made a credible threat to harm someone else, I am required to take steps to ensure safety, which may involve informing relevant authorities.

Abuse or Neglect: If there is any disclosure of current or past abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult, I am mandated by law to report this to authorities to protect vulnerable individuals.

Court Orders: If I receive a court order from a judge requiring me to provide therapy notes or documentation, I am legally obligated to comply.

Additionally, there may be instances when you want me to communicate with others involved in your care, such as a doctor or previous therapist or a new therapist. This can only be done with your written consent, and we would discuss the details thoroughly before you make any decisions about sharing information.

Your confidentiality is key, and outside of these specific situations, everything discussed in therapy stays between us.

Weekly therapy appointments are recommended, especially in the early stages of therapy.

Individual sessions are 60mins duration, unless we agree that a longer session is needed.

Couples sessions are 90mins duration each.

Trust your instincts. If it doesn’t feel like the right match after a few sessions, I encourage you to bring it up so we can address what's coming up and I can support you in finding a better suited therapist.

This is also one of the reasons we do the exploratory call to begin with. Please be assured that if I feel like I might not be the right fit for you, I will most definitely communicate this to you.
